This was originally entitled “Metaphor” due to my continued laboured use of them about the ‘journey’ of life.
On reading the lyric “locked in a bubble”, my sister-in-law Anita suggested changing the title to “Bubble Boy” ... a term that is well known from a Seinfeld episode. 
There are three different musical sections and in a rare moment of self-control I left them unadorned, repeated them once (ABC ABC) and finished.
Someone asked about the words ‘slime lightning and thunder’. This refers to the old idea that Earth’s ‘primordial soup’ could have given rise to primitive uni-cellular building blocks given the prevalent pressure, presence of organic compounds, and energy from lightning strikes.
