The 2002 original was without strict tempo and the violins lacked emotive swells. The arrangement had a few 'gaps' due to lack of preparation before recording and this always bugged me, along with some missing chord elements to smooth the transitions.

The new version:

• has two definitive tempos
• has better-defined chord changes
• adds percussion, guitar. ‘choir’, and a vocal harmony
• adds the piano bass (left hand) separately for more tonal control
• uses real violin samples (vs synthesis) with manually applied volume swells
